Ok, I know I said the regular programming would be back. But I figured that since it's so late, you guys would prefer a Filler Penguin than a lack of comic altogether. And I know I've been very slack lately. It's mostly because I've been on holidays from work, but also because the last couple of days have been packed with car related goodness (and by goodness, I mean hanging around in a mall for 5 hours waiting for the mechanics to pass it for the registration transfer).

I will make it up to you all, I promise.

This right here is one of the comics from the Filler Penguin competition that finished up last week. This particular one is one of the runners up, who didn't win a prize, which is unfortunate. So is the fact that I am not made of money, and so cannot go round handing out Threadless vouchers willy-nilly. I would though, if I could afford to. I'm a generous kinda guy.

This comic is fantastic, I laugh every time I see it. It's my personal favourite from the comp, and it's by Rachael B, who has commented a couple of times before, and who apparently loves her some Filler Penguin!

Meanwhile, it IS the 1st of the month, and you all should know what that means. This month, I'm gonna do something a little different. Since I've been a little lax on the updates over the past few days (ok... weeks), I'm going to make Sketch-A-Reader Sunday's post an addition to the current storyline, with the month's winner in it. And this month's winner is... Morris! For his comment on the last Sketch-A-Reader post, no less.
