Jelly: So I figured we could head out to Fyshwick... It's shouldn't take long, all going well, we'll be done by lunchtime.
Kieran: You plan on picking it up today?
Jelly: I guess so.
Kieran: Good. And how exactly are we getting out to Fyshwick in the first place? Cause I'm sure as hell not walking.
Jelly: You do realise we've been standing at a bus stop for the past five minutes, right?
Kieran: Yeah, but I didn't think we'd actually be taking the bus.It's possibly the only form of transport that's worse than walking.
Jelly: How about being dragged butt-naked behind a car?
Kieran: Yes. It's even worse than that.

Good times, back when I was between cars. All that waiting, only to find that the bus had come early... and then it takes an hour an a half to get across town to work. You meet some weeeeird people on public transport too. Buses are home to the city's strangest creatures, all thrown in a can and driven around until they smell and then some.
Though, the morning BLT I used to get from the little cafe in the interchange made it all worth it. What can I say? I'm a man who enjoys simple pleasures.

I think I've been on a bus like that - had the scared little old lady, the guy who was talking to himself (it was before bluetooth) and the too friendly loud girl. Oh, and don't forget the smelly guy.
